    Professional Background

    Ron Ryan is President of Ron Ryan & Associates, a management consulting firm based in Knoxville, TN. Mr. Ryan’s consulting practice serves the senior leadership of businesses and nonprofits nationally. The firm helps clients find hidden sources of profitability by improving their sales conversion and customer retention.   Mr. Ryan is also a co-founder of Real Time Capital Inc. a company that develops and manages insurance and retirement education--related web sites including QLACguru.com​.  

    Prior to founding his consulting business, Mr. Ryan held VP of Operations and SVP Product Management roles at Answer Financial, Inc. Recently acquired by the Allstate Group of companies, Answer Financial is a comparison shopping company and sister company to online auto insurer, Esurance.

    Mr. Ryan holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusettes.  Mr. Ryan’s scholarly work on business strategy has been published in Italian, Japanese and American journals and textbooks. He is currently researching and writing a guide to profitability improvement for small and medium sized businesses. Mr. Ryan is also named inventor for several issued US patents relating to financial services systems.
